The Federal Government plans to raise N80 billion ($533 million) in 91-day, 182-day and 364-day treasury bills next week. This was disclosed ...

by the Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday.

The regulator said it would issue N20 billion in 91-day bills, N30 billion in 182-day bills and N30 billion in 364-day bonds, using the Dutch Auction System next Thursday. The results of the auction would be released the following day, the bank said.

Nigeria issues treasury bills regularly as part of monetary control measures to curb inflationary growth and help banks manage their liquidity.
